Ice Sculptor Mark Mckenzie Ice Carving Competitions
1st Place Winner with a Silver Medal and a Cash Prize of $1000.
Entitled "Humming & Hovering", the Hummingbird depicted beside the Hibiscus Flower.
There was a total of eleven Ice Carvers at the February 2008 Ice Carving Competition.
Held in Lakeville Pennsylvania and Sanctioned by the National Ice Carving Association (NICA).

The "Dragonfly" made from two Blocks of Ice with a Carving time of four hours.
Won First Place, People's Choice Award, Most Creative Ice Carving Award and a Cash Prize of $1000.
At the December 2011 Bronx Zoo New York City Ice Carving Competition.
A total of fifteen Ice Carvers from all over the US Northeast Competed in this Contest.
This Competition was not Judged by a Panel of NICA Judges.
Instead, the Votes from the Attendees decided the Winner.
